To this day Rebecca Knott creates stunning work that is individually tailored to the client's environment. She is constantly pushing herself to come up with quality designs to the highest standard. " The quality is in the detail. It's important that every piece is thought about. Even the underside of a piece of work... just because you can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't deserve the same respect. "
If you are interested in knowing more and would like to commission Rebecca, please feel free to get in touch. She would be delighted to hear from you.
Rebecca Knott offers unique handmade items to customers across the globe who value original, inspired design coupled with quality craftsmanship. It is lovingly run by Rebecca Knott, an artisan blacksmith with a passion for creating beautiful things. Rebecca was born into blacksmithing in 1983 and first held a hammer when she was 3 years old, so her hunger for exploring the possibilities of metal began from a very young age. Rebecca obtained a mixed media art diploma at UCA in Farnham then went on to study photography and fine art at Southampton Solent University. Upon leaving university, Rebecca was given the opportunity to head up north and work with a master blacksmith. She did this for 7 months and then returned to the south to work alongside her father Terrence Clark at his forge in Guildford. Much of this time was spent working on some magnificent large jobs, learning the skills that would give her the foundation she would need to start up alone.
In 2007 that is exactly what Rebecca did.
